The Lines of Longitude – determinants of ones position in terms of navigation was a crucial puzzle to be solved in the early era of English naval dominance. Clockmakers, like Thomas Earnshaw, the often heralded "father of the modern chronometer" were celebrated for their genius in helping to navigate the world's oceans. Thomas Earnshaw and his famed chronometers were rewarded and recognized by the Board of Longitude in 1805 for their work in helping to open up the seas to safe and accurate passage around the world. The LONGITUDE timepiece from Earnshaw is a fitting tribute to the ingenuity , intelligence and grace in design of the works from Earnshaw. A large classically formed case – opens to exhibit a complex yet precise and clear vision of timekeeping mastery.
I like watches and this watche it's good and nice
received my watch in 3 days which I thought was super quick, very impressed with the detail, the moonphase, dual time and the skeleton design. my only issue is the hour and minute hand markers, they blend in with the colour of the dial which can make it hard to see them when looking at the time. I think the hour and minute hand markers would of been better if they were a blue or black colour. but over all I do love the watch and well worth the money. also happy with the free pen as it's real quality, I also like the history behind it ie the founder and maker Thomas Earnshaw ... :)
Nice design watches. I have bought 5 so far :)
I bought one from France for my boyfriend’s birthday and he’s in love with it, it looks amazing and it’s different from the other brands due to the history of the brand and how the watch is settled. It is a very interesting product for the one who love history and have enough money as well; anyway I live next to Switzerland and I’ve never seen a watch like this one.
