LADY AUSTRALIS - BAGUETTE ES-8057-03
The Lady Australis as the signature feminine collection from Thomas Earnshaw now boasts a stunning timepiece that is characterized by its lavish array of Baguette cut Austrian Crystals handset on the bezel.
The Baguette range pays tribute to the aesthetics and craftsmanship inherent in the design and development of this timepiece.
30 handpicked and handset stones adorn the case creating an elegant stream of facetted luxury across the bezel. The slightly domed lens gives the dial face volume and depth in creating a feminine, elegant timepiece for the woman who understands and appreciates the fine art of fine watchmaking.
The automatic self-winding movement is available to view both from the front of the dial via the visible flywheel at the 6 o’clock position and via the exhibition see through caseback that allows the wearer a glimpse at the interplay of gears, wheels and screws that bring this marvelous timepiece to life.
With other flourishes such as guilloche etchings on the dial face and a cabochon crown, the Lady Australis Baguette is perhaps more than a watch, and instead a beautifully jeweled piece of timekeeping.
History of the Baguette Cut
The baguette cut is named after the French word ‘baguette’ meaning “long rod”. The baguette cut was developed during the 1920s and 1930s. Its geometric form with straight, clean lines was a fashionable design during this period of Art Deco and Art Nouveau movements.
